The Scriptures

We believe that every word of the Bible is divinely inspired and perfect. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

We believe that God intends for the teaching of the Bible to be the primary action of the church (2 Peter 1:1-6).

We believe that the scriptures are our sole authority for faith and practice. 

We believe that God promised the supernatural preservation of the scripture (Matthew 5:18) and because of that reject modern versions based on texts which weren't available to Christians for over 1,000 years.  Because we believe that it is the best English tranlsation of the preserved text, we use only the King James Version in public worship.
